Alex: I don’t get it. Aren’t you glad he’s been outed as the asshole that he is?
Jesse: Sure. But suppose it had been me.
Alex: Been you, what? Screwing the public?
Jesse: No. Me recorded, secretly, and then outed, like he was. Nobody’s thoughts and conversations are totally pure. Suppose I had made a remark.
